Certification as a Cost Engineer (CCE) or as a Cost Consultant (CCC) is offered to qualified applicants who successfully achieve certain examination and technical paper requirements and who have accumulated experience credits in a cost engineering field such as Cost Estimating, Cost Control, Business Planning or Management Sciences. The Certified Cost Technician (CCT) designation is available for those who have not yet achieved the minimum experience requirement to sit for the full certification examination, but who have passed a portion of the exam. Specialty certifications in planning and scheduling, Planning and Scheduling Professional, PSP; Earned Value Professional, EVP; Certified Forensic Claims Consultant, CFCC; and Certified Estimating Professional, CEP, are also available. International are accredited by the Council of Engineering and Scientific
Specialty Boards (CESB) and the International Cost Engineering Council (ICEC). Objectives
Certification in cost consulting is becoming more prevalent in
our industry. More frequently are certified cost consultants required
on Request for Proposals from both the public sector and the private
sector. Obtaining your certification will enhance your own professional
standing in our industry, as well as that of the companies you
